Completion of 140 hour NHLA hardwood tree, log, & lumber grading course presented by Thompson Consulting, Branscomb, Ca.

Completion of two courses in log scaling and the Bell-Iles advanced cruising workshop in Corvalis, Or.

Completion of 60 Hours of AutoCad 2012 instructor-led training provided by NetCom, an AutoDesk trainer.

RELATED SKILLS

15 years providing timber cruising, GPS data collection, GIS mapmaking, and hardwood grading services for individual clients as TSI, including
participating in a project in Siberia advising a large Russian Lumber Company on hardwood log and lumber grading.

3 years as gis analyst for Nevada state Div Water Resources, researching and creating water rights maps.

2 years as a GIS/GPS analyst, providing mapping, survey, and technical training services for Vandenberg AF base.

11 years employed as a salaried forestry technician for Pacific Lumber Company, of Scotia, CA. Performed a wide range of tasks, including timber cruising, timber marking, wildlife surveys, and timber harvest plan preparation.

2 seasons employed by the Forest Service doing various work, including fire firefighting and hardwood tree falling.

2 years employed as a survey technician, assisting land surveyors establishing property lines and setting cadastral corners.

1 season employed by SEC, of Sedona AZ, as a subcontract timber cruiser.  Established and cruised Forest Service CFI plots on the Inyo National Forest.

6 years owned & operated a Lucas portable sawmill, doing both construction and specialty sawmilling on site for small quantitiy log owners.
